  High class food in our favourite town of Mount Dora.
  
  Great bar with very tasty cocktails.
  
  We skipped the taster menu and made our own from the full menu. Some of the best dishes we have had in Florida. The flatbreads were both amazing. And an umami soup was stunning.
  
  Make a booking early to avoid the rush. We were treated to a beautiful sunset over the lake as we left.
  
  Highly recommended.

  During visit to Mount Dora, we were treated to an unexpectedly succulent lunch. The 1921 Burger featured culinary highlights such as barbecued pickles and aged grafton cheese. The atmosphere is extremely elegant and classy. The decor is magnificently artistic. Service was SPECTACULAR (ask for Matt!). All in all, service, food quality and ambiance are in a superlative echelon in restaurants. Five Stars! We did not leave the restaurant without purchasing Chef Norman's book "My Key West Kitchen Recipe and Stories." Prices were very reasonable. Definitely a must-go dining experience, that I highly RECOMMEND!

  Heard about 1921 for a couple of months and decided to visit. In a word it was fantastic! Their food is among the best I've had in this area and beyond. If you are in central Florida and desire something different from The Ravenous Pig, Luma, and the usual Steakhouses then you must try 1921. No question. We have already made reservations for our next visit.

  This was our 2nd visit, as we loved our first visit. The restaurant is gorgeous, nice wine list, small menu.
  This time the food quality was very questionable. The Cesar salad was very salty, we chalked it up to too much anchovie paste?? But, when the main courses came out two meals where just way too salty!! And this comes from people that do not mind salt. The burger and Pasta(from small items menu) both just not good.
  The Tile fish was very nice...
  We are actually not sure if we will go back :-(
